About You:

• Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI, AAT, or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts support role
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and best practice
• Excellent organisational skills and a high level of accuracy
• Strong communication skills and a team‑focused mindset

About Your New Role:

Always:

• Support a portfolio of clients with day‑to‑day financial reporting and compliance
• Prepare bookkeeping records, VAT returns, and assist in preparing management accounts
• Maintain accurate ledgers and client records in line with best practice
• Build trusted working relationships with clients and team members

Often:

• Liaise directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
• Assist with year‑end file preparation for review by senior staff
• Support colleagues across client work, deadlines, and internal systems
• Take part in team discussions around workflow and process improvements

Occasionally:

• Assist with ad hoc assignments, such as grant applications or business support tasks
• Attend client meetings alongside senior team members
