Overview

Merseyside Recycling and Waste Authority (MRWA) is seeking the services of a Contracts Compliance Officer to ensure the successful operation of the Authority’s main waste contracts, the Waste Management and Recycling Contract and the Resource Recovery Contract.

Location: Mann Island, Liverpool / Hybrid

Reporting directly to the Contract Manager, the successful postholder will be an enthusiastic individual who will play a key role in engaging with contractors to monitor and assess compliance with the Authority’s contracts.

Responsibilities

• Engage with contractors to monitor and assess compliance with the Authority’s contracts.
• Operate in a contract management environment with demonstrable experience.
• Apply operational knowledge of waste management in daily duties.
• Develop strong working relationships with service providers and partners.
• Visit waste management facilities to monitor and assess compliance as a key part of the role.
