Overview

This role plays a key part in delivering an industry-leading customer experience to a growing customer base. You’ll be the first point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls and email cases, answering questions, and resolving queries to a high standard. Using your knowledge of systems, products, and services, you’ll ensure every interaction is handled accurately, efficiently, and professionally.

You’ll update customer records, process requests, and work closely with internal teams to provide timely resolutions. As you build strong technical knowledge across SmartestEnergy’s products and services, you’ll also help customers get the most from their energy solutions by promoting helpful tools, services, and energy-saving options. This is a customer-focused role suited to someone who takes pride in accuracy, problem-solving, and delivering a consistently positive experience.

Contract and hours

Please note this is 12 month Fixed Term Contract, Part time up to maximum of 25 hours per week, base salary up to £17,500 (pro rated to part time hours)

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced customer contact environment;
  • Accuracy on written communication, spelling, grammar;
  • Confident and able to objection handle.

Hybrid working typically means 2 days in the office location listed on this advert and 3 days working at home each week. Some occasional travel to our other offices may be required.
