Job summary

A community volunteer organization in Norwich is seeking enthusiastic volunteers for an Upcycling Volunteer role. The position involves researching sustainable fashion methods, sewing, and designing new clothing items. Detailed description

We have a fun new role at our exciting Castle Street shop to upcycle donations.

We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about sustainable fashion and getting creative!

Key Activities:

  • Researching new ways to upcycle clothing
  • Sewing old clothes and fabric
  • Designing clothes and bags

Personal Qualities / Attributes/ Knowledge:

  • Friendly and enthusiastic
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • To be able to work with individuals as well as part of a team
  • Recognise own limitations and seek help if needed
  • Flexible
  • Committed and reliable
  • Non-judgemental

Shifts available Monday-Saturday 9am-5pm, and Sundays 10am-4pm.

Could you spare some time to help? Just a few hours a week can make a huge difference.
