Vehicle Maintenance Technician

Location: Leicester, LE4 1ET

Working hours: 40 per week | Shift: Rotating shifts

Week 1: 06:00-14:30 Mon-Fri | Week 2: 12:30-21:00 Mon-Fri

Base pay £21.70 per hour, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

What You Will Be Doing

• Performing service and repair of company fleet in line with planned maintenance schedules to ensure our vehicles and trailers are safe, legal and fit for duties
• Completing signed service and inspection records
• Completing defect reports and associated paperwork to comply with legal requirements
• Preparing vehicles and trailers for annual MOT testing to ensure first time pass
• Performing ad-hoc vehicle repairs, investigating and rectifying vehicle defects

What Do You Bring With You

• Your skill and applicable licenses, our vocational training, e.g., LGV C&E license (class one)
• Knowledge of the use and operation of all automotive equipment and testing/troubleshooting equipment
• Ability to lift and manoeuvre heavy vehicle components
• Experience with welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting skills
