Description: Apprentice Mechanical Fitters will work in the SACO press shop and assist with the fitting, development, and refurbishment of tooling and setting of transfer presses.

Day to day responsibilities:

• Prepare the presses before production through the fitting of tooling.
• Adjust and make minor repairs to the machinery or tooling before and during operation.
• Perform test runs and collaborate with Quality Control to ensure components meet customer standards.
• Work with toolmakers to develop new tooling to optimise machine performance.
