About the Role

Larkrise Primary School, part of Quantum Multi‑Academy Trust, is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and capable Learning Support Assistant (LSA) who will work with a Year 2 pupil with ASD, Global Developmental Delay, sensory needs and social, emotional and mental health needs. The role involves supporting the pupil under the direction of the class teacher, working as part of a team, liaising with staff, and encouraging the pupil’s development.

Responsibilities

• Support the pupil’s learning and development in a classroom setting.
• Work collaboratively with the teacher and other staff to plan and implement individual support strategies.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff, ensuring open communication.
• Demonstrate initiative, flexibility and good organisation in all aspects of the role.

Qualifications

Good numeracy and literacy skills – (GCSE or equivalent in English and maths highly desirable).
