Your role is pivotal in creating a positive and impactful learning experience for each individual, fostering a commitment to the principle of “Right Learner, Right Programme, together.”

Whilst we can’t promise that every day will be the same, your key responsibilities are likely to be:

  • Engage learners, providing them with the best onboarding experience, preparing them for learning, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their program.
  • Utilise initial assessment results to establish learners’ starting points, planning tailored support and individualisation to progress on the right program.
  • Promote safeguarding and prevent practices to ensure learner safety, providing guidance on how to seek help and report concerns.
  • Progress learners beyond the standard or qualification through wider learning, including literacy and numeracy improvement, safety awareness, confidence building and additional skills for development.
  • Provide developmental feedback to learners, guiding them on areas for improvement and progression.
  • Monitor and review learner progress from their starting points, taking action when needed, such as engaging line managers or mentors to agree on plans for those falling behind or needing stretch and challenge.
  • Provide career advice and guidance, discussing next steps and opportunities available to learners to progress toward their career goals and aspirations.
  • Celebrate learners’ achievements to engage them in further learning and qualifications available to them.
Where will I be based?

This is a hybrid role. Most of your time would be working from home, but there may be the occasional travel requirement around the Greater Manchester district from time to time when learners need face‑to‑face training. This will be discussed with you further in your interview.
