As a Motor Vehicle Skills Assessor, you’ll step away from the tools and into a career that shapes the next generation of Army vehicle mechanics. You’ll use your hands‑on expertise to coach, guide and assess learners working across the British Army’s extensive fleet from quad bikes and generators to battle tanks and heavy artillery. Please note that this position involves travel/working across a range of internal and customer sites, as a requirement of the role.
The role is based remotely, with travel required to sites across the Southwest including but not limited to Tidworth, Lyneham, Warminster, Colerne, Larkhill, Bulford and Wiltshire. The set working times are Monday to Friday, totalling 37 hours per week.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC), Enhanced DBS, Child Barring Service and Adult Barring Service security clearance for this role.
