If you love reading and are keen to explore new texts thisis the course for you. Develop an in-depth knowledge of a range of classic andcontemporary literary texts by bringing them to life in the social, politicaland historical context in which they were created. Explore Drama and Poetry pre1900 (“Hamlet”, “The Duchess of Malfi” and “Paradise Lost”) and Dystopian Literature (“1984” and “The Handmaid’s Tale”) and completean assessment on a contemporary piece of literature of your choice. Perfectyour transferable skills with critical thinking, sourcing and referencing,evaluating and reasoning, debating and comparison.
