A prominent UK university in Leeds is seeking an Academic Clinical Fellow in Primary Dental Care for a part-time, 5-year fixed-term research training position. The successful candidate will engage in innovative research within the School of Dentistry while continuing clinical practice in NHS primary care. Candidates must be prepared to start by 31 March 2026. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the next generation of primary dental care academic clinicians.

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual who has the ambition to be part of the next generation of primary dental care academic clinicians. This Academic Clinical Fellowship (ACF) post is a 5-year fixed-term research training post. The funding is part time (0.25 WTE) and for the purposes of research training. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will continue their clinical practice in NHS primary care. You will be employed by the University of Leeds.
As an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow, you will spend your time undertaking innovative and scholarly research working with colleagues within the School of Dentistry. Opportunities include lab-based, translation and clinical research. These should be discussed with the senior academic staff in the school and will be explored at interview.
The successful applicant must be in post by 31 March 2026.
