Overview

Job Title: Hotel Sales Manager (Full-time or Part-time)

Sudbury House Hotel is looking for an experienced, results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to grow our corporate, leisure, and group business. This is a hands-on sales role for someone who knows hotel sales inside out, builds strong relationships, and delivers on commitments.

Role Responsibilities
  • Proactively generating new business (corporate, groups, weddings, events and leisure)
  • Managing and growing existing accounts with consistent follow-up and structured plans to grow revenue
  • Handling enquiries, creating proposals, negotiating rates, and converting opportunities into confirmed business
  • Working closely with events and operations to make sure what’s sold can be delivered smoothly — we win business the right way
  • Keeping accurate records, activity tracking and forecasting
  • Representing the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and local business opportunities
  • Responding promptly to inbound enquiries (phone, email, web) and gathering key details to build the right offer
  • Preparing accurate quotes and tailored proposals for bedrooms, groups, meetings and events
Essentials
  • Previous hotel sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding targets and converting leads into revenue
  • A professional, confident communicator who builds trust quickly
  • Highly organised, commercially sharp, and confident prioritising opportunities from enquiry through to close
  • Strong negotiation skills and a solution-focused approach
Desirable
  • Strong knowledge of the local market and an established network of contacts
Hours & Flexibility
