What are we looking for?
Qualifications & Experience (desired)
- Exposure to fundraising, sponsorship, relationship management and/or business development, ideally within the nonprofit or social impact sector.
- A strong track record of securing major gifts, corporate sponsorships, and grants from trusts, foundations, and government bodies.
- Experience developing and implementing successful fundraising strategies to meet and exceed financial targets.
- Strong background in corporate partnerships, donor stewardship, and relationship management.
- Knowledge of fundraising compliance and ethical standards, including GDPR and relevant UK regulations - or willingness to learn
- Experience managing fundraising budgets, forecasting revenue, and reporting to leadership teams
- Familiarity with digital fundraising tools, crowdfunding, and donor management systems.

What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure diverse funding sources, including grants, corporate sponsorships, major donors, and public fundraising.
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, partners, and funding organisations.
- Research and apply for grants from trusts, foundations, and government bodies to secure long-term funding.
- Create and lead fundraising campaigns, including digital, events-based, and community-driven initiatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to enhance donor engagement and brand visibility.
- Manage fundraising targets and budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and transparency.
- Monitor and report on fundraising performance, providing insights to leadership for strategy refinement.
- Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and ethical standards.
- Explore innovative funding opportunities, including corporate partnerships, crowdfunding, and impact investment.
