Job Overview

An established home improvement company with over 15 years’ experience who operate a fully inbound sales model, meaning all customer enquiries come directly to them — they do not cold call.

Due to continued growth and a higher volume of enquiries and installations, they’re looking for a Customer Follow-Up & Sales Support Assistant to join their team.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is confident on the phone and enjoys speaking to customers.

This Role Is NOT!

  • Cold calling
  • Door-to-door sales
  • High-pressure selling
  • Creating quotations
  • General admin work
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Key Tasks
  • Customer follow-up (main focus):
    • Calling customers after installation to check how everything went
    • Asking for feedback and logging responses
    • Identifying opportunities for additional work or future plans
    • Asking for referrals in a friendly, non-pushy way
    • Booking follow-up surveys for the sales team
  • Sales support & follow-up:
    • Chasing quoted jobs that haven’t yet gone ahead
    • Re-contacting warm leads to check progress
    • Passing useful information back to the sales team
  • Inbound call handling:
    • Answering inbound calls alongside the office team
    • Making sure calls are answered quickly and directed correctly
  • Sales coordinator support (cover only):
    • Helping qualify and book inbound enquiries during busy periods or holidays
    • Using clear scripts and processes (no cold calling)
