Qualifications

• Experience in a similar accounting role would be beneficial.
• Previous experience in the construction industry would be an advantage.
• Experience of using Microsoft applications especially Excel.
• Must be organised, diligent and able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with monthly reports, e.g., Bank Reconciliations, PAYE.
• Maintenance of the Sales Ledger.
• Management of utility bills.
• Processing of Subcontractor and/or Purchase Ledger invoices.
• Working closely with the Buying Team to match Purchase Orders & Invoices.
• Liaising with suppliers and dealing with queries.
• Any other accounting duties reasonably required by the Finance Manager.

What is the role?

This will be a varied role, which will require the role holder to carry out varied finance tasks.

What you’ll do a Finance Assistant

• Assistance with monthly reports eg Bank Reconciliations, PAYE
