Overview

A happy and sociable young lady is looking for a PA/Support Worker to help support her both in her home and on some social outings. This young lady has cerebral palsy, epilepsy and is a wheelchair user. The duties will include personal care, PEG feeding, administering medication, using hoist for transfers and some general domestic assistance as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care as required.
• Assist with PEG feeding and administration of medications as directed.
• Use a hoist for transfers and assist with mobility as needed.
• Perform general domestic tasks and support during social outings.

Requirements and Preferences

• A driving licence and access to a vehicle with business insurance would be useful but is not essential.
• Someone who can be flexible with shift times would be ideal.
• The young lady will leave school in June this year and the shifts would then change.
• PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) will be required for the successful applicant.
• All training will be provided.
