Purpose of the role
As a Workspace Community Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting tenants and managing the facilities at our site in Weston-Super-Mare. You’ll help ensure the workspace runs smoothly — from tenant onboarding and community engagement to facilities coordination and event delivery. You’ll be the first point of contact for tenants, so excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills are essential. From time to time you will also support the business to deliver an excellent tenant experience across our portfolio – drawing on your experience and knowledge to help improve and expand our offer.
This role requires you to be on site to fulfil the obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Community Management and Facilities
- Act as the main point of contact for all tenants, providing responsive and professional support.
- Manage tenant facilities; ensuring the space is well maintained and any issues are resolved quickly and effectively – with particular attention to finding cost effective solutions.
- Build strong relationships with tenants, understanding their needs and helping them maximise our spaces.
- Manage tenant issues promptly and effectively, escalating where necessary.
- Support tenant recruitment by marketing our spaces, managing enquiries, arranging viewings, and following up with prospective tenants.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new tenants receive a warm welcome, induction, and Health & Safety briefing.
- Maintain and update the tenant handbook.
- Community Events
- Support the Events and Community Manager in coordinating and delivering community events at your site.
- Support the delivery of our business support packages where applicable
- Operations, Finance and Reporting
- Keep all internal systems up to date, ensuring data is accurate and aligned with the projects reporting obligations
- Coordinate with the Facilities team to manage maintenance and facilities reporting and resolution where required
- Work with the Finance team to ensure accurate billing and timely collection of payments.
- Gather information and contribute to project reports, budgets, and evaluations.
- Create and upload digital content to project websites and social media, ensuring listings and information are current.

Skills and attributes
- Excellent communicator – confident in engaging with a range of people and handling enquiries with care and clarity.
- Customer-focused – previous experience in a customer-facing or community-oriented role; workspace or coworking experience is desirable.
- Organised and proactive – able to manage multiple priorities and take initiative to solve problems.
- Collaborative – a positive team player who enjoys working with colleagues across different types of projects.
- Digitally confident – proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable updating online systems or CRMs (Salesforce); experience creating digital content is desirable.
- Adaptable and resilient – able to work flexibly across sites, projects and manage change
- Creative and curious – keen to explore new ways of engaging tenants, improving community experience and marketing our work.
