Purpose of the role

As a Workspace Community Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting tenants and managing the facilities at our site in Weston-Super-Mare. You’ll help ensure the workspace runs smoothly — from tenant onboarding and community engagement to facilities coordination and event delivery. You’ll be the first point of contact for tenants, so excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills are essential. From time to time you will also support the business to deliver an excellent tenant experience across our portfolio – drawing on your experience and knowledge to help improve and expand our offer.

This role requires you to be on site to fulfil the obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Community Management and Facilities
  • Act as the main point of contact for all tenants, providing responsive and professional support.
  • Manage tenant facilities; ensuring the space is well maintained and any issues are resolved quickly and effectively – with particular attention to finding cost effective solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with tenants, understanding their needs and helping them maximise our spaces.
  • Manage tenant issues promptly and effectively, escalating where necessary.
  • Support tenant recruitment by marketing our spaces, managing enquiries, arranging viewings, and following up with prospective tenants.
  • Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring new tenants receive a warm welcome, induction, and Health & Safety briefing.
  • Maintain and update the tenant handbook.
  • Community Events
  • Support the Events and Community Manager in coordinating and delivering community events at your site.
  • Support the delivery of our business support packages where applicable
  • Operations, Finance and Reporting
  • Keep all internal systems up to date, ensuring data is accurate and aligned with the projects reporting obligations
  • Coordinate with the Facilities team to manage maintenance and facilities reporting and resolution where required
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure accurate billing and timely collection of payments.
  • Gather information and contribute to project reports, budgets, and evaluations.
  • Create and upload digital content to project websites and social media, ensuring listings and information are current.

Note: This list is not exhaustive. You may be required to undertake other tasks aligned with the overall aims and values of Meanwhile Space
