An established UK-based organisation providing specialist engineering and technical services across construction, infrastructure, and the built environment is seeking an Experienced Site Engineer to join its geo-technical delivery team. Operating on projects nationwide, the business is known for its practical, safety-led approach and its involvement in complex ground investigation and civil engineering works.
This is a fully site-based role suited to a Site Engineer with 2 to 3 years' experience in site investigation contracting. You will take a more hands-on role in managing site activities, supervising works, and supporting the successful delivery of projects, working closely with senior engineers and directors.
Deliver and oversee site investigations in accordance with project specifications and programmes
Assist with the planning, organisation, and day-to-day management of site operations
Ensure all site activities comply with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient project delivery
Monitor site performance, progress, and KPIs, reporting regularly to senior stakeholders
Provide technical input to problem-solving, site execution, and engineering decisions
2 to 3 years' experience within site investigation contracting
Degree-qualified in Earth Sciences, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
Strong understanding of site engineering practices, logistics, and contract delivery
Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental compliance
Confident communicator with good organisational and problem-solving skills
