An insurance company is seeking a Regional Underwriting Manager – Property in the United Kingdom. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Property Underwriting, showcasing strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex underwriting risks. Salary: Circa £100,000
This is a great job for someone who is an experienced Property Underwriter with strong technical expertise and is ready to step into (or continue in) a regional leadership role. You’ll enjoy shaping underwriting strategy, solving complex problems, and developing people, while working closely with brokers and senior stakeholders to drive profitable growth.
As a Regional Underwriting Manager – Property, you’ll be responsible for creating and delivering the region’s Commercial Property business plan, ensuring strong portfolio performance and sustainable growth. You’ll act as a technical subject matter expert, supporting the underwriting teams with complex referrals and non‑standard solutions. You’ll play a key role in developing underwriting capability through coaching, mentoring and quality oversight, while working closely with senior stakeholders to respond to market opportunities and emerging risks.
