A road maintenance company in Scotland is looking for experienced Roadworkers to maintain and improve our vital trunk road network. This full-time role requires a Full UK Driving Licence and experience in a construction environment. Successful candidates will perform duties in varying outdoor conditions and participate in winter maintenance. Our Northwest Trunk Road Unit spans over 1,422km of roadways, stretching from the rugged beauty of Thurso and Wick in the far north, down to the coastal charm of Campbeltown in Argyll and Bute. It connects communities from Uig on the Isle of Skye to the historic cities of Perth and Stirling, offering a unique opportunity to work across a landscape that’s as diverse as it is inspiring.
We have vacancies for experienced Roadworkers to join our existing operations team. The Roadworkers will report to Operations Supervisor and Operations Manager and will be responsible to help keeping Scotland moving.
This is a full-time role with Standby Rota and Overtime, including Nightshift.
Please note: Due to the nature of this role, successful candidates must be able to reach the depot within 30 minutes of being called out. This is essential to ensure timely response to operational needs.
