You will be supervising 1 member of the team, who will report directly to you, helping to manage their workload & ensure any deadlines are met. You’ll be the expert in your area knowing all there is to know about our accounts, answering queries and supporting the Head of UK & International Royalties with audit and complex royalty queries.****Your role:****This role is predominantly project based. The Royalty Department is the first point of contact for all royalty related queries. This role will require the holder to interact with senior management and clients or client representatives to confirm their requirements and provide the necessary information. The role holder should also be looking for constant improvements with a view to achieving the best working practices. You’ll be the expert in your area knowing all there is to know about our accounts, answering queries, approving payments and statements.****Here you’ll get to:***** You will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of royalty accountings for the A&R consultants on a six-monthly basis, reviewing contractual entitlements, relevant products and raising payments where necessary.* You will approve royalty statements with an acute level of attention to detail.* You will ensure all payments due are processed by the contractual deadlines.* You will assist with external artist audits.* You will manage the relationship with W Songs, providing support and information as required.* You will act as a point of contact for the Statement Portal, resolving queries and registration issues.* On an ongoing basis, review processes, procedures and systems within the Royalty Department.* Manage ad hoc projects at the direction of the Head of UK & International Royalties.****About you:***** You are educated to a minimum A-level standard (with good academic grades).* You are highly organised with an excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail.* You have the ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.* You have experience of managing a team.* You are prepared to take responsibility and be accountable for your own workload.* You are ambitious, eager to learn and take on new projects.* You are comfortable communicating with employees at all levels and artist management.****We'd love it if you also had:***** Previous royalty experience or experience within the music or finance industry.* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analytics* A passion for musicAs the home to 10K Projects, Asylum, Atlantic Music Group, East West, FFRR, Fueled by Ramen, Nonesuch, Parlophone, Rhino, Roadrunner, Sire, Warner Records, Warner Classics, and several other of the world’s premier recording labels, Warner Music Group champions emerging artists and global superstars alike.
