Job summary

A research and development organization is seeking an EHS Assistant to support health and safety compliance across R&D sites. This part-time role (2 days a week) involves ensuring adherence to EHS regulations, managing audits, and conducting risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH qualification, practical health and safety experience, and strong organizational skills. Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is advantageous. This position offers a pay rate of £21.61 per hour.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and internal standards.
• Manage site schedules for inspections and follow-up actions.
• Support audit preparation and conduct regular workplace inspections.
• Assist in managing Declaration of Conformity records.
