Job summary

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualifications (A-Level, NVQ) or above in a science or engineering discipline.
• Previous experience with wet chemistry techniques and chemical analysis equipment is desirable.
• Some experience with light fabrication or assembly is advantageous.
• Experience in calibration and validation of laboratory equipment is useful.
• Careful, methodical approach to assembly, material preparation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of laboratory activities as assigned by the Head of Lab Operations.
• Prepare and cure polymer membrane materials to defined SOPs.
• Construct electrochemical cells and test them using defined protocols.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards and laboratory housekeeping.
