Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Peterborough is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to provide superior quality engineering design services. You will produce cost-effective design layouts, ensure compliance with health and safety requirements, and coordinate designs across disciplines. The ideal candidate will have an HNC/HND in Civil Engineering with substantial experience, knowledge in water and sewage treatment, and the ability to convey technical proposals clearly. This role offers hybrid working, blending office and remote engagement.

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of HNC/HND in Civil Engineering and extensive experience in Civil Engineering.
• Understand the principles of water and sewage treatment.
• Ability to rationalise designs and produce economic plant layouts.
• A flexible mind with the ability to assimilate large amounts of different data.
• Ability to present technical proposals clearly and convincingly.
