Overview

We have brand new opportunities for Healthcare Assistants to join our mobile team at multiple sites nationwide. We are ideally seeking individuals with prior experience in a healthcare environment; however, full training will be provided.

This role involves meeting and greeting patients, assisting Radiographers in preparing patients for diagnostic scans, and performing administrative duties for patient bookings. IT proficiency is essential.

There will be extensive travel due to the mobile nature of the role. A full UK driving licence is essential, and a company vehicle will be provided.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assisting in patient preparation
• Chaperoning
• Cannulation (IV cannulation training provided if needed)
• Positioning patients on the scanner
• Clinical stock management
• Clinical audits
• Processing of patients via our E-Systems
• Assisting Radiographers during patients scans and providing patient support
• Administrative duties related to the patient pathway and telephone bookings

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience in a healthcare environment is desirable but not essential
• Full training provided for any required skills (e.g., IV cannulation)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong IT and administration skills
• Flexible, organized, and enthusiastic attitude
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
• Willingness to undertake an immunisation course if not already immunised against Hepatitis B
• Excellent customer/patient service skills
• Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and meet deadlines
