KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver well‑planned and inspiring Art and Design lessons aligned with Key Stage 3 and iGCSE specifications, and whole‑school academic expectations.

• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress with accuracy and consistency, maintaining high academic standards.
• Contribute to curriculum development and the ongoing improvement of schemes of work, resources, and assessment practices.
• Support and collaborate with colleagues within the Art and Design Department and the wider faculty, promoting strong pedagogy and continual professional growth.

• Enhance the creative co‑curricular programme through clubs, exhibitions, competitions, workshops, and enrichment opportunities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A recognized teaching qualification and a degree in Art, Art and Design, or a closely related creative discipline.

• Strong subject knowledge across a range of media, processes, and artistic practices.
• A passion for inspiring creativity and supporting students in developing their own artistic voice.
• Outstanding organizational, communication, and classroom‑management skills.

• Experience in an international school environment or with international curricula (highly desirable).
