A leading educational institution in the UK is seeking a knowledgeable candidate for a full-time research role in Adult Social Care data. The position involves analysing data and collaborating with researchers, with opportunities for co-authoring scientific publications. Available from March 2026 for 13 months, the role encourages diverse applicants and offers hybrid working arrangements. This is opportunity for a candidate, knowledgeable and experienced in research, using routine administrative data to work under supervision, with routinely collected Adult Social Care data with a local authority. Funded by the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), the project is investigating inequalities in reablement services in Manchester, in partnership with the data and intelligence team at Manchester City Council.
The post-holder is expected to analyse the data, collaborating with other researchers. They will present the progress and findings from the work in reports and meetings and there will be opportunities to co-author high-quality scientific publications.
The post is available full-time, from 1 March 2026 for 13 months.
