A local support service in Clarkston is seeking a kind and reliable Personal Assistant to provide personal care and support for a 10-year-old child with a disability. The role involves assisting with feeding and ensuring the child's comfort and dignity. Suitable for someone looking for meaningful short-term work, with full-time hours over a few weeks. Experience with PEG feeding is an advantage but not essential. This role aims to make a significant positive impact on a child’s daily life.
We are looking for a kind, reliable, and friendly person to provide personal care and support for a 10-year-old child with a disability who uses an adapted buggy. The role involves supporting all aspects of care, including feeding. Experience or training in PEG feeding would be an advantage.
Hours:
Full-time hours over a period of 2–3 weeks to support grandparents while parents are abroad. Shifts are likely to be between 9am and 10pm. Dates to be discussed, as we are looking to put arrangements in place before travel plans are finalised.
We may require two personal assistants.
