A personal assistance service in the UK seeks a Personal Assistant for a joyful 13-year-old boy with unique needs. The role involves 1:1 support during activities, supporting daily routines, and facilitating communication. The ideal candidate is kind and patient, with good communication skills and a willingness to learn. This position offers an hourly pay rate of £12.21 and requires a driver's license and own vehicle. If hired, you will either be employed or self-employed directly by the family.
7 hours once a month on a weekend, with additional hours available during school holidays. Actual days and times by mutual agreement.

Whether it’s soft play, trampoline parks, or a day at the park, he is always ready for fun. He has unique needs and thrives with clear routines, calm support, and someone who is patient, encouraging, and focused on his safety and happiness.
The role involves providing one-to-one support at home, in the community, and during a variety of activities. You will assist with communication using PEC cards or a communication device, support daily routines, and help with emotional regulation while encouraging independence and confidence. You will work closely with our family, following established strategies to ensure consistent, calm, and supportive care.
The ideal candidate will be kind, calm, and dependable, with good communication skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to his needs. Mileage will be paid when taking him out, rate to be agreed.
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours.
