Job summary

A leading language education provider seeks an Assistant Director of Studies to oversee the academic programme and support teacher development at various summer centres across the UK. The successful candidate will be integral in ensuring high-quality education for students aged 14-17, embodying the values of the organization. This full-time residential role includes accommodation and meals, with a salary range from GBP 560 to GBP 575 per week, plus holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK passport/right to work in the UK, and a valid DBS or PVG.
• Proven suitability to work with students under 18: at least 2 references.
• Master’s degrees in ELT/TESOL or related subjects accepted if supervised teaching practice included.

Responsibilities

• Ensure planning and delivery of the academic programme.
• Support teachers in their professional development.
• Assist the DoS with admin tasks.
• Represent MLA values.
