Job summary

A leading sustainable technology firm is looking for a Facilities Technician based in Royston. In this role, you'll ensure the proper functioning and safety of the building's infrastructure through repairs and preventive maintenance. Responsibilities include managing repairs, completing minor groundworks, and liaising with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of building materials, basic computer skills, and experience in risk assessments. • Sound knowledge of materials and working practices as they relate to buildings.
• Strong experience of basic building fabric and groundworks.
• Basic Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel.
• Experienced working with permitting systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage general building repairs and facilities tasks.
• Complete minor groundworks relating to site infrastructure.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders for effective operations.
