A leading charity in emergency response is looking for an Emergency Response Officer in Warmley, Bristol. This hybrid role involves managing and supporting volunteers to ensure efficient crisis responses and working with external organizations. The ideal candidate will hold experience in volunteer management and service delivery while being ready to engage with the community. Salary: £27,041 per annum
Hours: 35 per week

Additional Requirement: Applicants must have a full licence (2 years) and access to a vehicle.

As an Emergency Response Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our crisis response efforts – coordinating volunteers, supporting vulnerable people, and working with partners to deliver life‑changing support. In this truly rewarding role, you will be part of a 24‑hour on‑call rota as potential emergency response duties can arise any time. You’ll need to be easily accessible to the location to attend work meetings and face‑to‑face events on a regular basis. To be considered for this role, candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our Warmley office. This includes: Bristol, Somerset (near our Taunton office) or Gloucestershire (within approximately 30‑45 minutes drive of Warmley).
