A leading energy provider in the UK is seeking a Field Operations Manager based in Bolsover. This role involves leading a multi-skilled team responsible for the operations of a distribution network up to 33kV. Key responsibilities include managing a budget of up to £10 million, fostering strong customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience, a focus on customer service, and the ability to manage risks effectively.

• Experience in putting customers first by understanding their needs.
• Demonstrable ability to apply commercial thinking to maintain cost-effectiveness.
• Expertise in collaborating and influencing effectively across teams.
• Effectively able to plan and oversee projects from start to finish.
• Proven track record in managing risks through careful analysis.
• Experience managing suppliers and contractors for timely delivery.
• Ensuring data accuracy through compliance with policies.
• Demonstrable ability to work safely and protect colleagues.
• Experience within the Energy or Utility sectors is desirable.
• Should hold a full UK/EU driving licence for travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large multi-skilled team with approximately 30-40 reports.
• Deliver work programmes within a Capex/Opex budget of up to £10million.
• Respond rapidly to fault-related demands to maintain supply.
• Monitor, maintain & reinforce distribution network for customers.
• Develop a succession pipeline for direct reports.
• Engage regularly with customers and local councils.
