About The Role

If you're a hands‑on technician with experience inspecting and repairing physical equipment, we may have the role for you! Forming part of a new team at Arco Professional Safety Services, you'll utilise your experience and training provided to deliver expert inspection, maintenance and repair of our respiratory equipment for our customer at their site in the Plymouth area.

The Respiratory Equipment Inspector role is a full‑time position, Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours a week, with flexible working hours between 07:00 start and 18:00 finish.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out COSHH monthly inspections, manufacturers’ annual servicing and repairs to respiratory equipment including Powered Air Purifying Respirators (PAPR / SCBA), Full Face Mask Respirators and Half Mask Respirators.
• Completing and maintaining COSHH record keeping and Arcos Asset tracking system.
• Managing the stock of spare parts and equipment within the workshop to carry out monthly testing.
• Additionally supporting the wider team within the Plymouth area.

Qualifications and Experience

• Practical experience; equipment specific training will be provided by us for respiratory equipment.
• Manual handling experience.
• Face‑to‑face customer experience with an excellent telephone manner.
• Strong IT and data entry skills, particularly with Asset Tracking Systems.
• UK driving licence.
• Eligible to receive UK Security Clearance.
