Dental Practice Manager, Croxteth, Merseyside.

Hours:Full-time or Part-time (to be discussed at interview)
Salary:Up to £33,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)
Practice Type:Mixed & Private, 8-surgery practice with growth plans

We are seeking adynamic, commercially minded Dental Practice Managerto lead and develop our growing dental practice in Liverpool. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced manager to play a key role indriving business growth, enhancing private and specialist services, and supporting the long-term expansion of the practices.

This role is ideal for someone who combinesstrong leadership, operational excellence, and commercial awareness, with a passion for delivering outstanding patient care.

The Role

Reporting to the Principal Dentist, you will oversee theoperational, financial, governance, facilities, technology, and people managementof both practices. You will act asCQC Registered Manager, ensuring full compliance while also drivingsales performance, private growth, and patient experience.

You will be responsible for supporting the development ofprivate and specialist services, including (where applicable):

• Implants, Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Aligners/Orthodontics

You will also ensure the effective delivery of anyNHS contract activityusing a mixed skill set of clinicians.

Key Responsibilities

Practice Leadership & Operations

• Oversee day-to-day operations across both sites
• Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Manage recruitment, training, rotas, appraisals, and performance
• Foster a positive, supportive, and high-performance team culture

Commercial Growth & Business Development

• Drivetop-line sales, private revenue, and profit growth
• Develop and implement strategies to increase treatment uptake and patient retention
• Supporttreatment coordinationand patient finance discussions
• Build strong referral relationships with specialist dentists and partners
• Monitor KPIs, chair utilisation, and financial performance

Marketing & Brand Development

• Develop and manage the practice’ssocial media presence and online marketing strategy.y
• Supportreview management, local outreach, and brand building
• Promote private and specialist services to expand the patient base

Compliance, Governance & Regulation

• Act asCQC Registered Managerand ensure inspection readiness
• Maintain compliance withCQC, GDPR, infection control, safeguarding, radiography, COSHH, RIDDOR, and Health & Safety
• Oversee audits, policies, and governance frameworks
• Manage patient complaints, feedback, and service improvement initiatives

Financial & Operational Management

• Support budgeting, cost control, supplier negotiations, and stock management.
• Oversee diary optimisation and workflow efficiency
• Ensure effective use of dental software, CRM systems, and IT platforms

About You

Essential

• Minimum3+ years’ experience in a senior dental practice management role
• Proven track record ofsales growth, profit improvement, and performance management
• Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Comprehensive knowledge ofCQC compliance, governance, and GDPR
• Commercial mindset with a passion for growth and service excellence
• Confident usingdental software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office

Desirable

• Level 4+ qualification in Dental Practice Management or Leadership
• GDC-registered clinician background
• Experience intreatment coordination and private case conversion
• Familiarity withCBCT scanners and intra-oral scanners
• Experience managingmulti-site practices
