Job summary

An impactful education provider is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers to work with vulnerable students in the North East of England. You will deliver tailored Maths, English, or Science tuition to children with Special Educational Needs in a flexible role. The position offers competitive pay between £28 and £35 per hour, alongside opportunities for professional development and a supportive community environment. Applicants must have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS) and relevant teaching experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience teaching SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or PMLD.
• Familiarity with teaching English, Maths, or Science.
• Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible Maths, English, or Science tuition to children with SEND needs.
• Plan and deliver trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
• Provide regular feedback on student progress.
