Qualifications

• Need a degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent) required.
• Significant experience in the nuclear industry, especially ASME BPVC III/1 and XI/1.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical governance for ASME Section III/XI and R6 structural analysis.
• Lead best practice ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Guide and mentor engineers across the Structural Analysis team.

Skills

Chartered Engineer status

Experience in nuclear industry

Stress calculations using ABAQUS, ANSYS, or DYNA

Leadership in engineering teams

Understanding of materials behaviour

Education
