This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth operations, supporting customer satisfaction, and contributing to the performance of our depots and wider business.**Key Responsibilities**In this role, you will be responsible for:* Controlling stock levels and ensuring working capital remains within targeted limits* Managing and achieving stock-related KPIs* Actively utilising M4 and system reports to work closely with the Product Management team on stocking levels, forecasting requirements, haulage coordination, cost savings, and maintaining OTIF performance* Coordinating stock purchases via existing contracts, including imported goods* Inputting and processing purchase orders within the in-house system* Booking in or receipting stock, directly or indirectly, onto M4 as required* Using system reports to ensure all stock is received on time and in full* Communicating with depots to confirm sales orders and purchase orders* Liaising with internal teams to resolve customer complaints relating to stock* Acting as the key stock contact for major customers and suppliers* Identifying and pursuing additional purchasing and procurement opportunities* Working collaboratively with other depots to source or supply stock* Partnering with the sales team to maximise sales opportunities* Supporting the customer service function when required* Carrying out any reasonable tasks assigned by line management, in line with your skills and abilities, to ensure effective job performance**What You Bring**We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, committed to operational excellence, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
