Qualifications

• Background in repair and maintenance including ability to read, understand, and use prints and manuals.
• Knowledge of mechanical, engine, transmission, drive train, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and air conditioning systems.
• Must pass necessary written and practical tests for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance such as change oil and grease and replace components.
• Troubleshoot/diagnose equipment malfunctions and replace parts, repair, and rebuild.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Read blueprints and follow service manuals for repairs and rebuilds.
• Advise when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary.
