Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Payments Business Analyst with strong experience in API integration and a solid understanding of the Payments domain. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless delivery of payment solutions and API-driven integrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand payment workflows, transaction processing, and integration needs. Document functional and non-functional requirements for APIs and payment systems.
• API Integration: Work closely with engineering teams to design and validate API specifications (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML). Ensure API documentation is clear and aligns with business requirements.
• Payments Domain Expertise: Analyze payment gateways, card networks, digital wallets, and real-time payment systems. Understand compliance requirements (PCI DSS, PSD2, tokenization, fraud prevention).
• Stakeholder Management: Act as a liaison between product, technology, and operations teams. Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions for stakeholders.
• Testing & Validation: Support UAT and SIT phases by validating API responses and payment flows. Ensure data integrity and transaction accuracy across integrated systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of API design principles and integration patterns. Familiarity with tools like Postman, Swagger, and API monitoring solutions. Knowledge of payment processing systems, gateways, and settlement processes.
• Domain Expertise: Hands-on experience in Payments industry (cards, wallets, UPI, ACH, etc.). Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, PSD2).
