Location: Shorncote

Salary: £29,859.15 per annum

Hours: 42.5 hours

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

What is the role all about?

As our LGV Driver (Class 2), you’ll be playing a key part in transporting and delivering essential materials safely, efficiently and professionally.

We operate a modern fleet of 4‑ and 8‑wheel rigid vehicles, with opportunities to drive articulated vehicles for those who also hold a Class 1 licence.

What you will be doing:

• Safely operating 4 and 8‑wheel rigid vehicles, and articulated vehicles where a Class 1 licence is held.
• Transporting aggregates, soils, and site clearance materials to and from customer sites.
• Completing daily vehicles safety checks and reporting any issues promptly.
• Completing relevant paperwork, transaction documents, and delivery notes accurately.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

• A valid Class 2 LGV licence (C), CPC & Digi Tacho
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Reliable, self‑motivated and able to meet agreed daily targets.
• Good communication skills and a positive approach to teamwork.

Desirable:

• Previous Tipper experience.
• MPQC site safety awareness.
