The successful candidate will be responsible for executing business plans for existing investments, driving the financial performance of residential and commercial property assets and portfolios, and preparing and presenting strategic recommendations to Investment Committees.This London‑based role sits within the Pan‑European Asset Management Team and core responsibilities include implementation and analysis of residential and commercial real estate business plans, working closely with senior asset managers and joint‑venture partners to review and implement underwritten and annual business plans. The individual will contribute to investments typically valued from €50 million and above, with exposure to assets at various stages of the investment cycle, across the capital structure.Direct experience in real estate portfolio management is essential, with a strong preference for candidates possessing pan‑European exposure. Advanced MS Excel modelling skills are required, and the successful candidate will maintain an up‑to‑date understanding of European property market sectors, cycles, and key performance drivers while fostering effective working relationships with internal colleagues and external advisors.**Responsibilities*** End‑to‑end asset management across a diverse range of commercial real estate assets, ensuring alignment with asset‑level and fund‑level business plans.* Work closely with joint‑venture partners and third‑party service providers (including property and asset managers, leasing teams, and investment agents), driving performance and ensuring delivery in line with the agreed business plan.* Lead communication with external stakeholders such as agents, brokers, property managers, vendors, analysts, and surveyors to support efficient execution and market insight.* Prepare hold/sell analyses for Investment Committee consideration, as well as quarterly reporting for the fund.* Manage debt financing for assigned investments, including overseeing extensions, renegotiations, recapitalisations, and related processes as required.* Produce accurate Excel‑based financial models and analytical outputs for investments and investment strategies, monitoring key performance indicators, assessing risk/return profiles, and running sensitivities to support decision‑making.* Conduct and synthesise relevant market research, reviewing real estate surveys, benchmarks, and economic and demographic trends across applicable sectors.* Provide research and analytical inputs to support and validate business‑plan assumptions, including capital structure, debt/equity considerations, asset‑level strategy, and legal or tax structuring, with the aim of optimising investment returns.**Skills Required*** 7–10 years’ experience supported by strong academics (degree‑level education), ideally in engineering/science, finance, economics, or business studies.* Experience gained within a first‑rate professional services or investment environment, such as real estate investment management, private equity, infrastructure or a leading advisory/accounting firm.* Transactional and asset‑management experience within a private equity fund or leading financial institution.* Proven experience in presentation preparation, analysis, and research to support investment and asset‑management decision‑making.* Prior involvement in development implementation is advantageous.* Advanced financial modelling skills, with deep experience in the financing and modelling of residential and commercial property portfolios and investment cases.* Strong understanding of the physical aspects of real estate assets, including ongoing asset management, valuation processes, and disposal strategies.* Demonstrated execution capability, with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet multiple deadlines.* Solid grasp of European real estate market intelligence, particularly across Western European markets.* Ideally, experience working across multiple European countries, with knowledge of financing structures, loan security packages, and development‑related processes.**Other Desired Attributes*** Demonstrates a professional, positive, and solutions‑oriented attitude.* Strong cultural fit, exhibiting integrity, collaboration, and alignment with organisational values.* Clear and confident communicator, able to articulate complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders.* Proven ability to operate under pressure and adapt to a fast‑paced, evolving environment.* Excellent organisational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.* High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining consistently high standards of work.* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to understand, interpret, and act on key drivers of value.* Confident decision‑maker, proactive in identifying issues and driving solutions.* Able to work effectively in a cross‑cultural, international environment.* Additional European language skills are advantageous but not essential.
