Qualifications

  • Proven experience in network regulation, gained either through price reviews and/or related network regulation activities.
  • Aptitude for leadership, with experience in building capability in diverse multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to make robust decisions at pace with significant financial and reputational implications.
  • Skilled in engagement, communication, and collaboration across various levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in applying regulatory economics.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the work on regulation of the electricity transmission sector.
  • Oversee the implementation of the new RIIO-3 price control starting in April 2026.
  • Manage all in-period funding mechanisms and oversee significant investment pipelines.
  • Advise on Ofgem’s approach to onshore network regulation.
