Job summary

A well-known care organization in Greater London is seeking a Children’s Home Manager to oversee operations at a residential home. You will lead the staff team, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide outstanding care for children with autism and learning disabilities. The ideal candidate should have a Level 3 Diploma in Children's Care, at least 3 years of senior experience, and a keen understanding of care regulations. Qualifications

  • 2 years experience as deputy manager in children’s residential care is desirable.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Senior or Team Leader in residential care.
  • Good understanding of children’s home regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety requirements in a registered children’s home.
  • Lead day-to-day operations and manage a successful staff team.
  • Support young people to achieve outstanding outcomes through engaging activities.

Skills

Good computer skills
Good written and spoken English
Experience with young people's needs
Experience leading safeguarding

Education

Level 3 Diploma or NVQ Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce
