Job summary

A leading energy company in the UK is seeking a Mechanical Technician for a 6-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be part of a maintenance team responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance on all mechanical aspects of the plant. Candidates should have a minimum of NVQ3 in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience, ideally within power generation. The position requires flexibility in working hours and emergency call-out responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance within power generation or similar.
• Experience in investigating and designing mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate daily maintenance activities and assist in planning.
• Prepare work control packs using a maintenance management system.
• Respond to emergency call-ins promptly.
