Are you an experienced Commercial Account Handler looking to take the next step in your career?

Our client, a well-established local broker recently acquired by a larger national group, is seeking a talented handler to join their Chester team. This is an exciting time to come on board – blending the friendly, client-focused culture of an independent broker with the stability, resources, and progression of a national brand.

The Role

You’ll work closely with a team of Account Executives to provide first‑class service to a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. From renewals and mid‑term adjustments to preparing presentations and liaising with insurers, you’ll be a key part of ensuring client satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Account Executives with all aspects of commercial account handling.
• Manage client renewals, amendments, and documentation efficiently.
• Build strong relationships with both clients and insurers.
• Handle a varied book of business across Property, Liability, Motor Fleet, and Package policies.
• Provide technical support and ensure compliance with company and FCA guidelines.

About You

• Experienced in commercial insurance account handling (broker or insurer background).
• Confident communicator with great attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Cert CII qualification (or working towards) preferred, but not essential.
