• Strong practical experience with MySQL / Aurora MySQL administration at production scale.
• Proven ability to profile and tune queries and indexes.
• Solid knowledge of backup & recovery strategies for Aurora.
• Experience with monitoring and alerting for databases.
• Comfortable scripting/automation (Bash, Python, or similar).
