The UK Financial Services Transaction Diligence team at EY currently has exciting opportunities. You'll work with a high-performing, integrated team which focuses on a variety of high profile IPOs and transactions. You'll have a diverse range of stretching experiences which will give you continuous learning and development opportunities as well as a great sense of achievement.
We help corporate and financial clients to meet their strategic goals, whether they are acquiring, divesting or raising finance. We work with a range of clients, from UK entrepreneur led businesses to the largest global enterprises across financial services, often on complex assignments that involve working with colleagues across a variety of disciplines and jurisdictions. Our clients include leading global companies across the Insurance, Banking & Capital Markets and Asset Management industries as well as private equity, central banks and Government treasury departments.
Our core work is due diligence: assessing a target company’s finances and business projections, identifying opportunities, risks, sensitivities and potential mitigations, and reporting on these to our clients, their banks, investors and other parties.
You'll be working alongside experienced due diligence professionals, continuing to develop your skills to perform due diligence in a range of situations and sectors. There is the opportunity for travel, both within the UK and potentially internationally. Projects usually involve working as part of a wider cross‑service line team.
What’s most important is that you’re dedicated to working with your colleagues as part of a high‑performing team. You’ll need to thrive in picking up new skills, ask many questions, and have the confidence to speak up when you see something that could be improved. If you’ve got the right combination of technical knowledge and communication skills, this role is for you.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you can demonstrate that you meet the criteria above.
