JKB Wealth Management is a small, dynamic financial planning practice with approximately £95 million of assets under management. The firm currently works with three advisers and one paraplanner and has a clear growth plan to reach £150 million AUM, expanding to five advisers and four professional support staff.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paraplanner to lead and develop the paraplanning function and play a key role in the firm’s next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the paraplanning function across the practice
• Produce high-quality, compliant suitability reports
• Provide technical research and support to advisers
• Support complex planning cases across pensions, investments, tax and protection
• Maintain and improve paraplanning processes and standards
• Act as a technical point of reference within the business
• Support future growth and development of paraplanning resource

Candidate Requirements

• Proven paraplanning experience within a financial planning firm
• Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
• Excellent written communication skills
• Preferred:
• Degree educated
• Experience supporting multiple advisers
