A regional healthcare provider in Scarborough is seeking a Children's/Adult Nurse to join their supportive team of Special School Nurses. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience caring for children with complex health needs. Responsibilities involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-focused care and working independently in various community settings. The role offers 27 days of holiday, access to NHS pension, and extensive learning opportunities.
We are looking for a Children’s/Adult Nurse or Learning Disabilities Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team of Special School Nurses in Scarborough. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience caring for children with complex health needs and SEND, and will work with health and educational staff within the primary and secondary special schools in Scarborough and Ryedale玩法.
Successful applicants will collaborate with the wider multi‑disciplinary team, including the Children's Community Nursing Team, therapists and consultants, to ensure excellent communication and high‑quality care across four special schools, with occasional home visits and ward visits. A car drive is essential.
The role involves working over four days, Monday to Friday, including school holidays.
Interviews for this position will be held in person only at Scarborough Hospital. Remote interviews will not be available. The validity of NMC PIN will be checked before shortlisting; inaccuracies in NMC PIN details will mean your application will not be progressed.
